Important Proviso: The Virtual Experience Model doesn’t propose that all encounters are holographic or psychic. In my judgment, interactions are occurring via both virtual and physical means.
The Virtual Experience Model describes what I believe are the illusory mechanisms of contact employed by flying saucer intelligences. The model is as follows:
1.Virtual Experience of the First Kind, VE-1
1a. Hologram like projections that can be photographed and seen by all present.
1b. A visual display created by directly stimulating the sensory apparatus of the experiencer: either into the retina or possibly focusing on occipital cortex where visual data is organized for perception. This type of encounter cannot be photographed and can only be witnessed by the people that have been targeted, others not targeted don’t see the display. If, however, a request is made that these other witnesses be allowed to see the phenomenon, sometimes they too may view the display as well.
2.Virtual Experience of the Second Kind, VE-2:
In Dr. Karla Turner’s book “Masquerade of Angels”, she describes a dramatic contact experience in which the so-called aliens created a full sensory virtual reality for an experiencer. This type of scenario has also been portrayed in “The Matrix” movie series. In Chapter Four of “Masquerade of Angels”, Dr. Turner describes a blue ball of light that engulfed a witness while she was in bed. Her astounded friends observed her as she reported seeing the ceiling disappear allowing her to view first a helicopter and then a “UFO” hovering over the house. A few moments later, still encased by the blue orb, she went on to describe two aliens that were sitting at the edge of her bed. The other witnesses present reported seeing neither the helicopter, the UFO nor the beings.
3.Virtual Experience of the Third Kind, VE-3:
This third modality is virtual memory. These are implanted memories that do not correspond to any previous physical event. Nonetheless, they are so vivid and of such emotional power that the experiencer is convinced that the memories reflect exclusively physical encounters.
Following this schema, a VE-1 is a “Virtual Sighting.” A VE-2 is a “virtual reality” type encounter and VE-3 is a “Virtual Memory.”
What might be the “payoff” for the alleged ETs to employ such proposed illusory mechanisms? Here are a few:
1.Virtual contact reduces the risks of their “craft” being shot down and if crews are present their being injured or killed. If many sightings are not of objects, but instead are holographic projections, or if encounters are psychic, then “ET” human interactions might occur with a greater degree of safety.
2. Psi mediated Close Encounters, whether they take place in a kind of virtual reality (VE-2) or result from implanted memories (VE-3), prevent the exchange of potentially deadly germs between the “ETs” and humans. In Dr Roger Leir’s 2005 book “UFO crash in Brazil”, a young policeman died of overwhelming sepsis after he reportedly was exposed to the body secretions of a wounded ET.
3.From an energetic point of view virtual encounters are more efficient. For “ETs” to fly physical craft with crews into our environment, this would require fuel, logistic support and a host of complex preparations that we can only guess at. A small inter dimensional probe, however, could easily slip into our plane of existence, psychically stage a virtual encounter with little expenditure of energy. The probe might even have a cutting tool. This conceivably would enable it to leave a scoop mark, thus misleading a human subject into believing that the encounter was exclusively physical.
4. If the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) associated non-human intelligences are intent on not alerting the general public to their extensive operations, as certainly seems to be the case, staging interactions using psi technologies obviates the need for elaborate security measures. I refer to such complexities as timing the encounters to avoid police patrols, and other potential witnesses that might try to interfere with staged physical encounters.
5. An exchange of deadly pathogens might not be the only biological risks that “aliens” might face in coming to “madhouse” Earth. I know of several experiencers that have been informed by their “alien” contactors that just being in our “plane of existence” is not only difficult for them spiritually, but also shortens their lives.
The explanation offered for this unsubstantiated notion is that our reality exists at a “lower frequency” and that the more spiritually and technologically evolved “ETs” spend most of their time in dimensions that operate at a “higher frequency.” As a contactee, I once found this concept somewhat appealing. Nevertheless, until we know a great deal more about the nature of reality, the existence of other dimensions and flying saucer intelligences, it’s just another story.
The above points assume that the intelligences responsible for flying saucers are physical biological beings. If however, they were an intelligent form of energy that dwell in non-material realms and only assume a physical form when they enter our reality, then some of the incentives listed above might not have utility.
